Position Objective:

To efficiently complete all daily operations while maintaining a positive company image and rapport with customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Daily register operation:
Training, Handling Cash and Checks, Scheduling Deliveries and Plantings, Running House Charges, Opening and Closing procedures, Gift certificates issued and redeemed, Credits issued and cancellations of orders

Knowledge of equipment and Corresponding procedures:
Cash register, Calculator, Telephones, Radios/Intercoms

Paperwork Procedures:
Deliveries, House Charges, Gift Certificates, Tax Exempt Certificates, Pickups, Special Orders, Plantings, Discounts

Customer Service:
Project positive company image, Customer interaction, Phone orders, Uniforms, Problem solving (cash registers and answering phone calls)

Internal Customer:
Accounting, Sales People, Coworkers

Stocking supplies, Upkeep of register, Cleaning of area

Participation in Company:
Attending training sessions, attend company wide meetings when required, interact with employees, aid in other departments when tasks are overloaded

Seasonal Extras:
Prepare for fall festival, prepare for Christmas season
